about the CXI RP-SNOW-SILENT:
Snow-white cables - perfect for your extravagant performance! For all performers who appreciate brilliant white colors and a pure sound. The technical properties of the proven CIK 122 bulk cable and the snow white jacket are perfected by one robust snow white NEUTRIK NP2 connector and one right-angled NEUTRIK silentPLUG connector. All this and the low capacity values make this a supreme, straight sounding instrument cable.
This model features NEUTRIK Silent Plug technology, which allows the user to disconnect the cable from the instrument without causing any loud or crackling noise even if the amp is at full throttle. The newly developed REED switch in the new NEUTRIK Silent Plug mutes the guitar signal, thus preventing any noise effectively. Please bear in mind: always insert the Silent Plug into the instrument, the 6.3mm mono gold-plated plug into the amp.
about the CIK 122 cable:
This flexible, double shielded instrument cable is an attractive choice for LIVE and studio musicians as well as home recording applications. Thanks to a generous conductor cross-section of 0.20 mm2, the CIK 122 is effectively protected against cable breaks and tolerates a high number of bending cycles.

The silentPLUG automatically mutes (shorts) an instrument (guitar) cable to avoid pops and squeals when changing the instrument (guitar) under load. The integrated silent switch (pat. pending) is based on REED-technology and guarantees a lifetime beyond 10,000 mating cycles. The new PX silentPLUG features a rugged metal shell enhanced with a rubber cushion overlay for improved shock protection.
