Belltone wants you to know:
This is the perfect Vintage-meets-Modern upgrade for your T-style body or build project. These T-style necks start with hardwood exotic tiger flame maple that is roasted for added strength.
Our roasted maple necks undergo a special kiln drying process which involves heating the wood in a special kiln. This process acts to remove the moisture from the wood, making it stronger yet lighter in weight. The major advantage is that after treatment, the wood becomes much less susceptible to moisture and climate changes. Being more stable and predictable, the neck will require fewer adjustments based on overall weather conditions.
In addition to creating a visually stunning effect by darkening and accentuating the flame maple grain patterns, the roasting process also improves the resonance and sustain in the wood. This increased density produces a more 'active' percussive nature to the neck with a somewhat brighter attack ... all with very smooth and fluid playability.
This wood is carved into the updated classic 'C' shape comfort profile. The neck is bounded by hand with a classic cream-colored binding around the edge of the fingerboard and headstock as well, providing an elevated level of detail. Next, the neck is then applied with a rich vintage amber tint which highlights the distinctive wood grain. Lastly, it is finished in a light, ultra-smooth 'satin' finish for a great 'new old stock' aesthetic.

As with any handcrafted wood instrument, these necks may have some variations in grain pattern and very slight imperfections/flaw that are inherent to the manufacturing process (not defects or damage), which we've tried to clearly show in photos, as best as possible. We have multiple variants of these necks, while supplies last--let us know if you're interested in a bundle deal for more than one.
Important: The headstock design is best suited for modern tuner formats. We do not recommend the vintage T-style tuners.
